General conditions of Sale

By placing an order on the online store http://www.racingtime.shop/, the Customer declares to have read all the information provided to him during the purchase procedure, and to fully accept the general and payment conditions below transcribed.

Any right of the Customer to compensation for damages or compensation, as well as any contractual or extra-contractual liability for direct or indirect damage to persons and / or things, caused by the non-acceptance, even partial, of an order is excluded. In case of unexpected unavailability of the goods and non-acceptance of the order, no charge will be made to the Customer.

How to purchase

Correct receipt of the order is confirmed by the system via an e-mail reply, sent to the e-mail address communicated by the Customer. This confirmation message will contain date and time of the order, an "Order Number" to be used in any further communication with the system.

It is the Customer's responsibility to register with the correct data and to keep this data up-to-date using the login credentials.

The steps that a new customer must follow to complete a purchase are the following:

  • add items to the cart
  • click on Go to cart (or on the Cart icon in the menu)
  • if necessary, change the quantities of the products in the cart or delete them
  • Click Checkout at the bottom right of the cart page when you are ready to proceed with the purchase
  • At this point the customer who does not have an account can register by clicking on the Register button on the right of the login form
    • The user enters email and password and clicks on the Register button
    • A screen to confirm the registration request is displayed, and at the same time the user who requested the registration is sent an email
    • The user must click on the link to confirm the registration located in the email that was delivered to him
    • By making this click, the user is shown on the RacingTime website, where a message confirms the completion of the registration
    • At this point the user can normally view his cart, click on checkout and then log in (or in reverse order to log in by clicking on Access from the menu and then visit the cart to proceed with the checkout)
  • The user is requested (only the first time) the data to complete his customer profile, and in this case shipping and billing addresses
  • Once these data have been entered, the customer will be shown in succession the screens that include:
    • Confirmation of shipping address (just click on Next, as the customer will have just entered this data for his customer profile)
    • Choice of shipping method
    • Confirmation of the billing address (just click on Next also in this case)
    • a summary of the cart
    • choice of payment method
    • Final confirmation and sending of the order
With these operations, the order is completed.

Terms of payment

Paypal and credit card
The purchase of the goods is provided with Paypal and Credit Card payment methods.
The Card transaction takes place through the Paypal electronic system; at no time during the purchase procedure the electronic system of the portal and no member of the staff is able to know the credit card number of the Customer, which is provided by the Customer to the Secure Server of the Credit Institution on a protected internet connection and encrypted according to current standards in the online payment market.

Delivery methods and costs

For every order placed on http://www.racingtime.shop/, RacingTime issues an invoice for the material sent, sending it via e-mail to the order holder, pursuant to Article 14 of the D.P.R. 445/2000 and DL 52/2004. For the issuance of the invoice, the information provided by the Customer at the time of the order shall apply

Delivery costs are shown explicitly at the time the order is placed. Some promotions may offer discounts equal to the shipping costs for orders over a certain value determined by the offer itself. The payment of the goods by the Customer will be made using Credit Card or Bank Transfer. Nothing is more due by the customer than the total order.

The order processing times are approximately 72 hours. No responsibility can be attributed to RacingTime in case of delay in delivery of the order by couriers.

Upon delivery of the goods by the courier, the Customer is required to check:

  • that the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated in the transport document;
  • that the packaging is intact, not damaged or wet or otherwise altered, even in the closing materials (adhesive tape or metal straps).

Any damage to the packaging and / or the product or the mismatch in the number of packages or indications, must be immediately disputed, applying WRITTEN CONTROL RESERVE on the courier's delivery proof. Once the courier's document has been signed, the Customer will not be able to oppose any dispute about the external characteristics of what was delivered.

Any problems concerning the physical integrity, correspondence or completeness of the products received must be reported within 7 days of delivery, according to the procedures set forth in this document.

In case of non-collection within 5 working days of the material in storage at the courier's warehouses due to repeated inability to deliver to the address indicated by the Customer when the order is placed, the order will be automatically canceled.

Privacy

The personal data requested at the time the order is submitted are collected and processed in order to satisfy the express requests of the Customer and will in no case and in no way be transferred to third parties. RacingTime guarantees its customers compliance with the legislation on the processing of personal data, governed by the privacy code pursuant to Legislative Decree 196 of 30.06.03.

Applicable law

The sales contract between the Customer e RacingTime means concluded in Italy and regulated by Italian law. For the solution of civil and criminal disputes deriving from the conclusion of this distance selling contract, if the Customer is a consumer, the territorial competence is that of the reference hole of his municipality of residence; in all other cases, the territorial jurisdiction is exclusively that of the Court of Bergamo.
